Full-Time Back-End Software Developer
The ICT Directorate is recruiting a back-end developer to build and maintain the systems behind the University portal and its digital services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong programming experience in Java
- Experience with Spring Boot and the wider Spring ecosystem
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Experience designing RESTful APIs
- Understanding of JWT authentication and Spring Security
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate or another ORM
- Comfortable with Git and a hosting platform (GitHub/GitLab)

Full-Time Front-End Software Developer
The ICT Directorate is recruiting a front-end developer to build the interfaces students, staff and the public use across the University portal and its digital services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong practical experience with React.js
- Experience with Next.js and modern React development practices
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern ES6+ JavaScript
- Strong HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web design skills
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs
- Experience with React Native mobile development

University Librarian
The Governing Council invited applications from professors with at least fifteen years of university administration experience to serve as administrative head of Library Services across the University, its campuses, faculties, colleges, departments, centres and research units, reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor.
Requirements
- Must hold the rank of Professor
- At least fifteen (15) years of post-qualification experience in university administration
- A minimum of 30 points in high-quality publications, at least 15 of them circulated
- Proven research productivity and strong administrative experience
- Demonstrated computer literacy, as the Library is fully automated
Tenure: A single five-year tenure on a consolidated salary, on terms consistent with Federal/State university conditions of service.

University Bursar
The Governing Council invited applications from qualified accountants at Deputy Bursar rank or above to serve as University Bursar.
Requirements
- A good honours degree (at least Second Class Lower) from a recognised university
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of post-qualification experience in university administration
- Currently serving at the rank of Deputy Bursar or its equivalent
- A professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA or ANAN)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting packages
- A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
- No more than 60 years of age at the point of appointment
Tenure: A single five-year tenure on a consolidated salary, on terms consistent with Federal/State university conditions of service, subject to review by the Governing Council.
